Payment Issues

Troubleshooting problems with payments and backing.

Card declined:

  • Check your card details are entered correctly
  • Ensure your card hasn't expired
  • Check you have sufficient funds
  • Some banks block online payments by default — contact your bank if needed

Payment processing error:

  • Try again in a few minutes
  • Try a different payment method
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies

Charged but don't see my backing:

Payments can take a few moments to process. Refresh the page. If it still doesn't appear after 15 minutes, contact us.

Refund issues:

If a project doesn't reach its goal, no charge is made. For funded project refunds, see our Terms of Service or contact hello@futurepreneurs.co.uk.
