The Drawdown Approval Process

How teachers approve drawdown requests and what happens next.

When a student requests a drawdown:

1Student submits a drawdown request against a specific milestone
2Teacher is notified via email and dashboard notification
3Teacher reviews the request — checking it matches the milestone purpose
4Teacher approves or rejects with optional feedback
5If approved, funds are released to the student's wallet
6Parent is notified of the approved drawdown

Teachers can reject a drawdown if:

  • The request doesn't match the milestone purpose
  • They need more information from the student
  • There are concerns about how funds will be used

Rejected requests include feedback so the student can address the concerns and resubmit.
