Requesting a Drawdown
How to request money from your funded project.
Once your project is fully funded, you can request to withdraw money against your milestones:
1Go to your project in the dashboard
2Click on the milestone you want to draw down
3Click "Request Drawdown"
4Your teacher/mentor will be notified
5Once your teacher approves, the funds are released
Important:
- •You can only draw down against milestones you defined when creating the project
- •Each drawdown must be approved by your teacher
- •Parents can see all drawdown activity
- •A full audit trail is maintained
How long does approval take?
This depends on your teacher. Talk to them beforehand so they know to expect the request.
